Technical Manager at Floradata. Duarte worked from 2002 to 2008 at Peneda-Gerês National Park, where he was a part of projects for the conservation of threatened plants, and participated in the revision of the “Plano de Ordenamento do Parque Nacional da Peneda-Gerês” (National Park Land Use Plan). From 2007 to 2011 he performed monitoring of flora, vegetation and habitats for large projects (roadways and dams). He has been a managing partner and environmental consultant at Floradata since 2011, participating in multiple environmental impact assessment studies and nature tourism projects. He has also been a coordinator of publications such as the Atlas of the Upper Terva Valley Flora (Boticas), Serra d’Arga Fauna, Flora and Geology Atlases, Flora and Fauna Atlases of the Natura 2000 Network in Ponte da Barca, and of projects such as Cartography and Proposal for Planning and Management of the SAC “Serra de Montemuro”, and the Management Plans for 20 Natura 2000 Network SACs.
